Dr. McCabe graduated with a B.S. in Zoology from University of California Davis in 1974. She then went on to pursue a Masters degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology from the same institution before pursuing her career in veterinary medicine. Dr. McCabe received her DVM degree from The University of Georgia, graduating at the top of her class, Magna Cum Laude. After several externships in large and small animal medicine, Dr. McCabe set up her own private practice in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Bob, and her dog, Gracie. Her remaining free time is dedicated to her grandchildren, Olivia and Max
their two ponies and her three horses.

Jill Frost

Jill joined our practice
in 2005 as Veterinary Assistant. Prior to joining ABJ Equine, she was an accomplished equestrian hunter/jumper. She graduated UC Santa Barbara in June, 2005 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. Jill continues her path in veterinary medicine at Ross University. The
loveable Lab next to her is Summer.

Elena Shockman

Elena recently
assisted our team as an Intern. She is currently a veterinary student at The University of Pennsylvania. She graduated The Pennsylvania State University in May 2004 with a B.S. in Animal Bioscience. When not working or studying, Elena enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with her dog, Marley.

Dustin Watson

An aspiring veterinarian, Dustin is completing his
education at the University of Arizona. Our very own horse whisperer, he was born and raised in Poway, training and riding his own horses Ten and Deb. When not studying or working, Dustin enjoys wakeboarding and spending time with his two dogs, Tango and Tess. |
